Description

  1. Reporting
    1. This position reports to the Sanitation Manager
    2. This position has 0 direct/indirect reports
  2. Responsibilities
    1. Work closely with facility personnel to ensure that Bright Harvest produces food that is safe, legally compliant, and of high quality.
    2. Know and observe safety, security, quality, sanitation, and personal hygiene requirement and lead by example.
    3. Removing waste from the production floor
    4. Cleaning and sanitizing equipment per SSOPs
    5. Set up of equipment prior to production startup
    6. Knowledgeable of required PPE and comply to all plant safety and GMP policies
    7. Perform self-inspections of assigned areas

Requirements

  1. Functional mechanical understanding of food plant processes and equipment
  2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team without being disruptive, to accommodate production scheduling needs – must work 3rd shift and mandatory overtime
  3. Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, lift, climb, crawl, and at times may require average agility and dexterity. 
  4. Valid forklift license or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
  5. Excellent attendance is required
  6. Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly
  7. Must be able to use basic hand tools
