Truck Driver II

Job Description

 

Responsible for the loading, transporting and unloading of product from one location to another in a safe and timely manner

  • Unloads and delivers orders to correctional facilities according to assigned work instructions
  • Loads product from assigned work order in order to meet daily delivery requirements
  • Drives loaded product to specific location(s) according to assigned schedule and in accordance with work instructions
  • Records sales and/or delivery information on daily sales or delivery record

Requirements

 

Valid state driver’s license for assigned vehicles

  • Ability to drive assigned vehicle which could include, but not limited to vans, pick-up trucks, box trucks both reefer and non-reefer units
  • Must possess an acceptable driving record
  • Must have excellent customer service skills

    Education/Experience
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • At least two (2) years truck driving experience required
  • A valid state CDL driver’s license for the type of vehicle being driven is required
