Warehouse Support Specialist

Job Description


The Warehouse Support Specialist is Responsible for handling cash collection for various facilities in an assigned route and routinely assumes full Commissary Warehouse Manager responsibilities on an as-needed basis in various warehouse locations, during the short or long term absence of the assigned Warehouse Manager.

Essential Job Functions
• Have a thorough understanding of Trinity Services Group’s best business practice and procedures including policies and benefits (attendance, medical, PTO etc.)
• Work with Management to improve labor efficiencies at assigned Trinity locations
• Assist the Trinity Services Group Management by: 
• Assisting in processing applications and new hire packets to ensure proper completion
• Training On-Site Managers and staff on proper Trinity Services Group commissary delivery procedures by instructing    and delivering commissary orders to inmates in a corrections environment
• Implement policies for credits, damaged product, out of date product and returns
• Assist Management in counting inventory of customer buyback
• Instruct on-site staff on Trinity Services Group and Facility security/safety procedures, notifying Management if there are conflicts with the Facilities’ policies/procedures
• Provide follow up training, on-going support and assistance to all on-site managers and staff
• Present information to analyze the profitability, costs and operational issues of prospective accounts
• Assist with assigned aspects of inventory control including ordering, receiving, stocking product and processing orders
• Weekly cash pick-ups from various facilities in a designated route
• Cash reconciliation 
• Transporting cash to the bank and making deposits 
• Complete miscellaneous duties/projects as assigned by Management





Job Requirements:

  • Ability to resolve customer issues quickly and creatively in order to improve customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge of cash collection operations procedures, including reconciliation 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially via telephone and in writing
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to respond in a professional manner to all inquiries, providing the highest level of customer service
  • Must qualify for and maintain correctional facility security clearance
  • Education/Experience
  • Associates Degree in Business Administration preferred; High school diploma/GED and equivalent work experience
  • At least two (2)years of management or supervisory experience in a commissary or food service institutional environment
  • Previous experience with inventory distribution and control
  • Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and email skills
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and mathematical abilities to complete necessary cash reconciliation
  • Ability to travel up to 100% of the time
