Regional Analyst

Job Description

 

Provides administrative support services for multiple units by implementing administrative systems, procedures, and policies, and monitoring administrative projects to ensure effective and efficient operations.

Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Prepare correspondence, minute taking, scan and distribute reports and other documents as required; this could also include reviewing letters and reports, obtaining signatures, conducting research presenting financial reports or general filing. Prepare and submit expenses and procurement requests.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for site filing systems, and performs all site record keeping functions including but not limited to accuracy and completeness of team member files, records for special events, state and local government paperwork requirements, contracts, etc.
  • Responsible for collecting and analyzing information; consolidates data for financial reporting for the region
  • Assist with facilitating security clearances throughout the region
  • Screening phone calls, handle enquiries professionally, and adhere to quality standards. This will require initiative to take follow up action when appropriate.
  • Coordinate activities and reports for the Leadership Team
  • Develop financial forecasts and analyses, generate internal management reports and monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s) (when applicable)
  • Develop periodical financial plans and forecasts, and provide an accurate reporting and analysis of financial data (when applicable)
  • Develop and maintain models to support budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis processes (when applicable)
  • Understand the impact of elements and processes as they relate to the overall business

Requirements

 
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
  • At least three (3) years administrative and/or clerical experience
  • Strong systems aptitude with advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of clerical practices and procedures; basic budgeting and reporting
  • Experience with accounting, systems management, analysis, payroll systems, and general ledger required
  • Ability to work independently on projects, multi-task, and also collaborate as a strong team member
  • Must be a self-motivated team player; flexible with schedule, highly organized, detail oriented, and open to change
  • May require minimal travel

 

Associated Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced PC skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; a willingness to learn other software tools as introduced
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced and demanding environment
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills; ability to prioritize
  • Independent decision-making regarding daily priorities and tasks
  • Proactive and self-starter; self motivated
