Operations Supervisor (Warehouse)

Job Description

  1. Maximize Quality Production with limited down time and waste
  2. Know and follow all Do’s and Don’ts and Company Policies in a positive upbeat manner
  3. Comply with FDA, GMP, OSHA and HACCP guidelines
  4. Complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
  5. Wear proper PPE per MSDS and OSHA
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work area
  7. Ability to recognize and correct quality issues
  8. Report any unsafe condition, indication of theft or property damage to supervisor immediately
  9. Always notify your supervisor before leaving work station
  10. Ensure all safety precautions are taken prior to operating machines
  11. Ensure all employees follow the above listed guidelines
  12. Receive, count and verify all incoming product
  13. Open and/or close facility as directed
  14. Input information from receipts into computer
  15. Set dock appointments
  16. Keep open purchase order file in order
  17. Maintain rotation of inventory following FIFO procedures
  18. Provide all weekly and monthly reports
  19. Maintain cleanliness of warehouse
  20. Keep warehouse in OSHA and FDA compliance
  21. Know and ensure everyone follows “Safety Related Work Practices”, GMP, and Do’s & Don’ts
  22. Train warehouse personnel on procedures and policies
  23. Receive and log UPS shipments and all other deliveries
  24. Inventory and order warehouse and cleaning supplies on a monthly basis
  25. Work closely with management to help meet daily goals
  26. Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outbound shipments
  27. Ensure all product is identified and stored neatly
  28. Delegate workload to warehouse personnel to achieve daily goals
  29. Perform any other duties as assigned


  1. Good communication skills
  2. Team oriented
  3. Possess good understanding of OSHA and FDA regulations
  4. Must be forklift certified
  5. Ability to lift 70 pounds
  6. Excellent math skills
  7. PC experience including AS400 system
