HBC Manager

Location: Russellville, AR (104 N. Hampton Ave.)


As a member of the Hardback Café team, Managers are responsible for managing the department by supervising and executing corporate plans and actions as well as creating a positive team atmosphere, and increasing sales utilizing company financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

·          Maintain sales to plan for the Hardback Coffee Café

·          Effectively manage inventory by establishing and adjusting ordering parameters, forecasting usage, and controlling waste

·          Prepare beverages to Hastings’ standards for speed, quality, and consistency

·          Stays aware of industry trends by competitive shopping and reading trade journals

·          Comply with standards for merchandising, stocking, and storing product

·          Correctly follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

·          Welcome and connect with every customer and help influence purchasing decisions

·          Follow proper cash handling policies and procedures and conduct a successful cash audit upon the completion of each shift

·          Takes advantage of new training opportunities and tools




·          High School Diploma or GED

·          One year coffee/food service management experience

·          Cash handling experience

·          Excellent customer service skills

·          Strong time management and organizational skills

·          Ability to work in a team environment

·          Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs
