Asset Protection Specialist

Location: New York, NY (1972 Broadway)

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

Outgoing, security-oriented individuals that work rotating fixed posts. They provide excellent guest service.  They must be able to focus on customer needs and effectively enforce company policy without alienating guests or employees.  They must develop specialized skills to detect external and internal crime. 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Operate and monitor various posts within the store, such as guest doors, fitting rooms and CCTV.
  • Apprehend shoplifters and assist in internal investigations as needed.
  • Provide great service to guests, employees and visitors. Provide service that will positively impact sales.
  • Communicate positively while conveying confidence and good body language that includes engaging guests and employees with warm smiles and friendly greetings.
  • Represent our higher purpose, core values and company culture to grow professionally and thrive. 
  • Respond and handle emergency situations or incidents as they occur.
  • Perform baggage inspections, pat downs and other designated items.
  • Maintain access control for the location.
  • Ensure all employees are following policy & procedure and take corrective action when needed.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

 

 

  • At minimum, a high school diploma is required
