Executive Director (Residential)

Location: Columbus, OH (Ed: Rcrs Oh Columbus (Residential Options))

 

Our Executive Director provides leadership and administrative responsibility for achieving our ResCare mission and vision, ensuring effective operation in the following areas of primary function:

  • Planning and Overall Day-to-Day Operations/Program Development:  Responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of ResCare's strategic plan and program goals; policy and procedure development and maintenance; evaluation of the performance and impact of the organization and staff in meeting objectives and delivery of services; QA and QM.
  • Human Resources/Staff Development:  Responsible for the direction, motivation and development of staff to align with and promote the ResCare mission, vision, values and brand; fostering a motivational, collaborative and innovative work environment; providing effective training and support; supervising staff performance; administering policies and procedures.
  • Business Development/Growth Opportunities:  Responsible for the ongoing pursuit of new business and referral opportunities; achieving and maintaining a "book of business" that meets and/or exceeds program goals; developing and fostering relationships and referral sources to achieve and maintain the highest census levels possible.
  • Finances/Fiscal Oversight/Contract Management:  Responsible for overall budget, budget management, budget accountability and fiscal management; ensuring proper practices regarding recordkeeping, control systems and proper reporting; leading annual budget planning efforts.

 

 

  • Bachelor Degree in the area of Human Services, Social Services, or related field (will consider others with equivalent and relevant experience in the DD/ID/Residential Services industry).
  • 4+ years of progressively responsible experience with the proven ability to effectively manage systems, processes and people.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience with at least 5 direct reports and 30 dotted-line reports.
  • 3+ years managing budgets/revenue in excess of $2 Million.
  • 3+ years of business development (outside sales) experience with a verifiable record of meeting and/or exceeding goals.
  • The proven ability to build business and/or increase sales to meet and exceed goals.
  • Candidates with experience in a residential services, DD/ID and/or ICF setting are strongly preferred.
