Standing/walking for up to 9 hours, with one hour lunch and two 15 minute breaks as rest periods (maximum 3 hours at a time on feet).
Reaching/bending/twisting and stooping/kneeling/crouching to place merchandise in a storage area, store display and/or in a customers shopping cart.
Reading, understanding, using and following information on merchandise, equipment and procedures.
Reaching/grasping/manipulating all equipment in a safe and proper manner (e.g. scissors, knives, dolly, towmotor and wrapping machine).
Occasional lifting/lowering and pushing/pulling merchandise weighting up to 50 pounds from floor level to approximately 6 feet high.
Being able to work with and around cold water and ice.
Being able to work with all produce items (flowers, fruits and vegetables).
Being able to work with all deli items and their odors (e.g. fish, seafood, meat and cheeses).
Working in temperatures ranging from 30 to 50 F for an 8 hour work day and -20 F for periods up to 15 minutes.
Working in temperatures down to 35 degrees F for periods up to 2 hours.
Accurately measuring and portioning out serving sizes and placing them in the appropriate container.
