The Compliance Auditor is responsible for auditing and analyzing patient records supporting the organization’s adherence to applicable regulatory guidance and internal policies. 

The Compliance Auditor's essential functions are below:

  1. Audits patient records for compliance per applicable regulations according to the audit calendar
  2. Performs ad hoc audits per request
  3. Analyzes information gathered by audits and reports findings and recommendations
  4. Tracks/trends audit results reporting results as requested
  5. Makes recommendations to leadership for training based on audit results
  6. Acts as a resource and has expert knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and other applicable regulatory requirements
  7. Provides consultation with staff as needed to facilitate compliant documentation 
  8. Provides staff education as needed
  9. Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

 
  • Two year degree from an accredited college is required
  • At least one year of related experience in health care is required
  • Knowledge of home care regulations is preferred
