RHP Properties (www.rhp-properties.com) is a growing, privately held national Property Management Company. Headquartered in Farmington Hills, MI we own and operate over 254 manufactured home communities in 25 states.

We are presently seeking an individual who will be responsible for the management of construction projects for physical plant and facilities, operation systems, and renovation of manufactured housing communities and multifamily housing communities.

As a successful Project Manager, you will:

  • Manage all assigned projects from inception through completion.
  • Maintain a legible and detailed log of project personnel, materials, services, problems, solutions and expected completion date for the length of each project.
  • Write or request proposals and negotiate vendors’ contracts.
  • Maintain constant contact with supervisor to report progress, changes, problems or other issues that may affect successful project completion.
  • Provide knowledgeable insight into building codes.
  • Estimate and review job costs, project materials, and monitor payments to vendors.
  • Develop and maintain professional working relationships project partners.
  • Travel out of town for 4-5 days per week.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

 
  • A minimum of 3 years project management experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred; HS Diploma or GED required.
  • Working knowledge of physical facilities, including construction renovation.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with all levels of personnel.
  • Ability to develop and negotiate proposals and contracts with vendors and other project partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Detail orientated with strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, multitasking, and follow-through skills.
  • Valid operator’s license and reliable transportation.
