Camp Registrar I
The Camp Registrar I will assist with departmental operations, including but not limited to clerical/registration duties, answering the phone, receipting monies, data entry, maintaining records/office supplies, assisting with program promotion and filing. The Camp Registrar I will provide a safe and nurturing environment for everyone and will be actively involved and have a positive attitude about all programs.
Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma, or its equivalent. One year administrative and/or data entry experience is preferred (prior administrative experience, including, but not limited to experience with Data Entry, Receipting Monies, filing). Basic knowledge of computers, office equipment and fiscal management. Knowledge or ability to learn YMCA software programs in regard to camp registrations, receipting and generation of reports needed. Ability to communicate effectively with participants and staff and focus on administrative tasks (with attention to detail) despite frequent interruptions/distractions. Ability to take initiative, be organized, and effectively communicate with participants, parents and staff. Must be adaptable and have high integrity. Ability to obtain YMCA training, which includes but is not limited to New Employee Orientation, Child Abuse Prevention, Safety and Risk Management and other program-related training within 60-90 days of employment.
