Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description


As a Speech Therapist you will be responsible for identification of needs and delivery of services to residents who require speech therapy intervention in accordance with all Federal, State and facility requirements.  The Speech Therapist (ST) collaborates with facility staff to promote the highest practicable Speech, mental, and psychosocial well being for the residents.




Minimum Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.  Must be licensed as a Speech Therapist in Virginia and hold a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence, or be a recent licensed graduate accumulating the supervised experience required to obtain a Certificate of Clinical Competence.   

Experience: Successful completion of required clinical affiliations, preferably including at least one rotation in the SNF setting.
