Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)

Job Description


This position is responsible for implementing treatment programs established by the Occupational Therapist in accordance with all Federal, State and facility requirements (as applicable).  The Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) collaborates with facility staff to promote the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well being for the residents.




Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Maintains current national certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant, or is a graduate of an approved OTA program and is actively working toward certification.

Successful completion of required clinical affiliations, preferably including at least one rotation in the SNF setting.
