The Financial Planning and Reporting Analyst supports the reporting, planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis of the company. Work is full time during the week with some overtime. This role supports the preparation and distribution of all financial statements. Work is performed at the CNS business office and there may be some travel to other locations.

In general, this position requires a high level of accuracy in terms of reports and systems and an ability to be flexible and adaptable to needs of a growing company.

Minimum Requirements




1. Reporting to the Director of Planning and Reporting, this role assists in developing the reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business strategic analysis of the company.  Requires excellent knowledge of Finance and Accounting with a high-level experience with economics and financial drivers.

2. Creates and assists in the preparation and distribution of all periodic financial statements.  Requires ability to present information and interact effectively with senior executives, stakeholders, cross- functional business leaders, peers, accounting staff, and customers.

3. Assists in the development of the annual operating plan and quarterly reforecasts with insightful analytics. Conducts financial analysis, modeling, forecasting and reporting efforts to ensure efficient financial operations. This requires the ability to analyze and interpret financial information from Concur reporting and Centriq general ledger utilizing advanced excel skills.

4. Analyzes results and develops insightful suggestions for investment and cost reduction. Prepares pre-and post-acquisition analysis for capital expenditures.

5. Provides financial guidance and detailed financial analysis and other ad hoc information to Senior Management to assist in making business decisions and achieve growth, profitability, and budget targets across the organization.  Advises management of trends and changes in reporting requirements and recommends best approach for any changes in reporting.

6. Develops and implements creative process improvements and best-known practices while simplifying current financial management processes. Requires ability to think strategically, synthesize complex data and develop creative and innovative solutions within a complex environment.

7. Maintains professional and ethical relationships with staff, patients, patient families, insurance adjusters, attorneys and other visitors.

8. Attends staff meetings, in-services, and all scheduled shifts.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting is required.

2. 3 years of experience in business required.

3. GL/Accounting system experience is required.

4. Requires strong proficiency with Excel, particularly with pivot tables, databases and lookup tables.
