Position Overview:  Human Resources Generalist manages the day-to-day human resources activities including human resources process management, recruitment, selection, employee relations, benefits, and employee relations. In this role, the Human Resources Managers will manage an on-site HR Team, provide HR leadership for the operations team, and coordinate with leadership staff from other Faneuil sites and from our corporate offices.

Essential Job Functions:

Provide full-range strategic HR Business partner support for Faneuil site

•Provide main point of HR contact for all employees in the call center, other sites, and company leadership

•Manage all aspects of HR operations for the site

•Provide support for sourcing, screening, and evaluating candidate applications/resumes for qualifications

•Conduct periodical HR audits to insure all site activities have been performed in accordance to HR laws, company policies, and HR best practices

•Insure new employee orientation sessions, benefits enrollment, and onboarding are flawlessly executed

•Provide subject matter expertise for operations management with HR policy adherence, disciplinary actions and documentation

•Conducts investigations regarding HR policy violations and appeals

•Hire, train, manage, mentor, and develop HR staff

•Utilizes HRIS including Applicant Tracking System, Payroll and Time and Attendance software

•Ensures up-to-date maintenance of employee records in accordance with legal requirements and corporate policies

•Keeps up-to-date with any changes in related legislation

•Additional duties and responsibilities as needed


Minimum Requirements



Job Requirements:

•Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

•5 - 7 years’ experience in HR dealing with recruiting, payroll, employee relations, progressive discipline, and benefits administration

•2 – 4  years’ team management experience, preferably in an HR role

•PHR or SPHR certification preferred


•Possess ability to work with MS Office and a working knowledge of HRIS including Payroll, Time and Attendance

•Understanding of employment law, employee rights, payroll and benefits and COBRA

•Must have the ability to work independently with support from corporate and/or regional offices

•Strong oral and written communication and proven organizational skills

•Detail-oriented and accurate

•Ability to management other administrative professionals, delegate duties, prioritize, and follow up

•Ability to maintain confidentiality
