This position will be a .5 - 1.0 FTE.

As an Education Coordinator you will plan and facilitate adoption support groups, camp workshops and adoption events. You will coordinate, communicate and supervise adoption-oriented educational opportunities and create and implement programming for current and past clients based on client/program needs. In this role you will manage the adoption mentoring program, including the supervision and support of program interns. You will also develop and participate in online adoption information and education sessions and act as the staff liaison to the Resource Committee for Adopted Adults (RCAA).

Minimum Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field; a master’s degree is desired.
  • Experience with adoption or social service related content for diverse mediums and diverse audiences.
  • Experience facilitating training and group sessions and knowledge of webinars and online training design is desired.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to forge a mutually respectful partnership with persons served and their families.
