RHP Properties ( is a growing, privately held national Property Management Company. Headquartered in Farmington Hills, Michigan, we own and operate over 200 manufactured home communities in 24 states.

We are presently seeking an individual who will assist the Senior Finance Manager with budgeting and preparing various analyses, as well as generating and distributing various reports.

As a successful Financial Analyst, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive underwriting and due diligence procedures on prospective real estate acquisition opportunities.
  • Prepare accurate financial models, projections, and analyses on prospective property acquisitions, including property operational underwriting and return on investment modeling.
  • Utilize or enhance existing Excel acquisition-underwriting templates and maintain other financial and analytical models for use in analyzing prospective properties for acquisition, refinancing or disposition.
  • Review, analyze, and comprehend a variety of real estate documents, including: rent rolls, budgets, operating statements, expense recovery reconciliations, loan agreements and other information used in the underwriting process.
  • Communicate with brokers, sellers, lenders and third parties as appropriate to understand and underwrite the transaction effectively.
  • Prepare and present all analysis results in a clear and concise manner.
  • Assist with the preparation of investment packages.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA or CMA preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with significant accounting responsibilities with real estate underwriting experience preferred.
  • Strong real estate financial model and analysis experience preferred. Business writing experience preferred.
  • Public accounting experience in auditing or tax a plus.
  • Advanced understanding in financial statements, finance and real estate cash flow modeling experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and in a team setting.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, verbal communication, written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively coordinate and manage multiple assignments, as well as prioritize tasks and efforts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; highly proficient in Excel.
  • Knowledge of MRI software a plus.
