The Hyperion Developer partners with our Financial Planning & Analysis team to support Hyperion Planning & Workforce Applications.  The Hyperion Developer also supports our Specialized Divisions in data analysis and projects.

  • Hyperion Planning & Workforce analysis, configuration, technical development and financial reporting experience 
  • Strong understanding of Hyperion Application Security
  • Working knowledge of SmartView from installation to troubleshooting
  • Experience with Oracle Data Interchange (ODI)
  • Participate in Hyperion Application Implementations and Upgrade as required
  • Knowledgeable of financial budgeting and forecasting using varying dimensions
  • Ability to create functional and technical design specifications
  • Ability to create test scenarios/cases, conduct functional testing, and support user testing
  • Provides support to Financial Planning and Controllers during the Budgeting and Forecasting cycles
  • Working knowledge of integrations with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software including Oracle, PeopleSoft or SAP
  • Organizes and leads team meetings as required, and publishes minutes, action items, and issues.
  • Manages and documents system issue resolution, from identification and documentation through resolution.  Escalate issues to department management as required.
  • Participates as a team member on Projects led and managed by other groups.
  • Provides a high degree of autonomy in the performance of duties, working effectively with little supervision at times.
  • May include some evenings and weekends when necessary.  Some travel may be required.


Minimum Requirements



Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.



  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience required
  • 8+ years of experience in a large environment, sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
  • Experience in implementing/upgrading/supporting enterprise systems (e.g. budgeting, payroll, financials, infrastructure, etc.) is required.
  • Experience working in a complex web-based organization that includes internet, extranet, and SharePoint environments is a plus.


Competencies (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing):

  • Highly proficient in MS Office products, including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, etc.
  • Must understand Systems Development Life Cycle and be able to clearly articulate roles, project goals and timelines
  • Understands the responsibilities of the IT function, standard project methodologies (Waterfall/Agile) and change management procedures
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills are required
  • Strong customer and results orientation
  • Ability to effectively correspond, present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public at all levels and across diverse cultures.
  • Ability to be an effective team member.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization.
