Fleet Maintenance Clerk

Job Description


Data entry into Sprocket of all fuel tickets, repair orders, weekly breakdown reports for all center tractors and trailers. 


Generate daily Preventive Maintenance reports


Maintain inventory control of Fleet Maintenance parts.


Daily DVCR Filing and ensure that files are purged every 90 days.


Process invoices and AIP’s for payment


Answer phones


Take service logs


Process ComData checks and verify all information on invoices are correct.


Any additional administrative tasks as assigned by Director of Maintenance


Distribute written company communication as required.



High school diploma plus 6 months administrative experience, preferably related to distribution or transportation industry.  Must be able to operate a PC and calculator.  Must be able to effectively communicate (including reading, writing and speaking) in English.


Most of day is spent on data entry using computer, with filing, and inventory of parts


Must be able to read at a distance and close to the eyes, with or without correction.


Shop, Parts and office environment.Located in the Fleet department providing protection from weather conditions but not temperature changes.



Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications, SAP, 10 key,
