General Summary

 

The Digital Account Manager is responsible for managing initiatives and tactics that will support the Big O Tires’ digital marketing plans and business goals. S/he will be an integral team member of the digital paid search team. Qualified Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years direct experience working in the marketing field, specializing in communications as well have a solid understanding of billing & reconciliation processes.  This position will require strong mathematical skills in addition to verbal and written communication.  The digital media account manager will be responsible for the strategy and execution of the national social media program, as well as manage the coop program for the entire network of accounts.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            

The digital media account manager will be responsible to ensure process of calculating media budgets are properly formulated, and will be responsible to communicate upcoming media promotions and media budget plans to an extensive network of accounts.  This person will work closely with the paid search team to confirm that media plans are thorough and are being executed against.  This person at times may assist in the day to day management of the paid search program across the entire network.  At times the digital media account manager may assist in providing paid search performance reporting & help communication campaign performance insights to local ad agencies & dealers as needed.   This person will be the liaison between the internal billing team, the local advertising agencies and the brand in communication of media planning, and media budget allocations, invoicing & reconciliations.  It will be required to provide regular reporting in a regular recurring cadence with regard to billing & invoicing.

 

Ideal candidates are detail oriented, hands-on, and efficient, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take a very proactive approach in digital paid media.  This person will also have strong communication skills, a desire to foster relationships with local agencies and all levels of the organization with both written and verbal presentations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage entire billing process including reconciliation
  • Monitor media plans & keep paid search team aligned with fulfillment of the plans
  • Main point of contact on billing/invoices with Local Ad Groups & Internal billing department.
  • Manage social media program
  • Manage tire manufacturer co-op program
  • Assist in Media Planning & Budget Planning
  • Assist in executing on certain aspects of the paid search campaigns as needed.
  • Assist in developing reports including analysis on performance metrics for paid marketing campaigns.
  • Schedule regular conference calls/meetings with agencies for media planning, reporting & account reconciliations
  • Assist in monitoring & maintaining campaign expenses to stay within defined media budgets across a large network of accounts.
  • Attend meetings and calls as required

  • BS/BA degree required

  • Ability to work well and collaborate with multiple digital marketing teams & team members 
  • Prioritize tasks and effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven atmosphere
  • Highly Proficient MS Office, with special focus on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong self –motivation skills and integrity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
