General Summary:


The National Director of Sales & Operations will be the primary contact between the corporate office in Palm Beach and the Division Vice Presidents (DVP). Approximately 70% of the role is strategic planning while 30% is directing the activities of the DVPs. The incumbent will help develop the strategies to improve store operations, growing sales and profits, increasing the value of our franchise network, and growing new stores. 


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Have a maniacal focus on growing car count at every Midas while employing proper strategies to enable Midas franchisees to say yes to every customer.
  • Assist DVPs and Midas Franchisees in the improvement of store operations and operational excellence leading to the growth of retail sales, increasing dealer profitability, growing the franchisee’s business while upholding Midas’ best practices, polices, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with DVPs on Change Management in the transformation of their respective divisions.
  • Develop strategies to transform the Midas Business Model from a “basic service shop” to a full service tire destination and total car care retailer; coaching, training, and developing Division Sales teams on how to become world class Tire Retailers in a service based environment.


  • Oversee the U.S. and Canadian Operations and Mexico Call Center: Handles a wide range of transition obstacles within in the U.S. Canada and Mexico. Serve as point of contact across Division Teams and Shared Service groups for issues and troubleshooting. Lead and Direct all activities with the guidance of the Midas VP and General Manager
  • Orchestrates and Coordinate Key Meetings, Leads, Guides, and Directs Field Teams: Creates the overall strategy to drive Same Store Sales growth, New Store growth, Save Store programs and to positively impact EBITDA
  • Franchise Integration: Leads and directs the day to day activities of the Field Operations Specialist. Anticipates needs and coordinates activities across the U.S. and Canada.
  • Measurements and Tools: Provides feedback to the Midas organization to insure proper measurement and effectiveness of Data Highway, M2, Portal Reports, and other ad hoc reporting


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management or a related field of study
  • 10 + years Management experience with similar employer/ industry
  • 6 + years of experience in customer care/ satisfaction in a retail environment
  • A clear understanding of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow
  • Previous experience in a fast paced environment requiring strict organization, efficiency, and attention to detail
  • Experience in customer relationship management
  • Knowledge of best practices for customer experience management and the customer lifecycle
  • Ability to implement and monitor a strong internal quality improvement program

Geographic, Work and Travel Requirements


  • This position is based out of company Headquarters location in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida
  • Travel will consume 50% of the work week.
  • Occasional nights and weekends to support franchisee special events
