SUMMARY: The position is dedicated to administrating the business aspects of www.treadXpress.com and www.carrolltireonline.com B2B websites. The candidate will maintain accurate customer and product information, including product screens, pricing, promotions, and assortments related to special programs such as factory direct orders and seasonal campaigns. Manages ERP system data related functions that interact with the B2B sites. Success in the position will be reflected by increased usage of the websites by the customers.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Position requires a strong understanding of the company’s computer systems, the wholesale tire business, and customer needs and requirements.

 

Build product assortments in the ERP system for factory direct and special domestic programs. Define product ranges, maintain assortment validity dates, enter discounts and/or fixed prices appropriate to customer classifications

 

Create and post on the websites announcements of periodic specials, new products, and ‘Deal or No Deal’ clearance specials.

 

Manage customer and product profiles to ensure customers see only information that is relevant to their buying relationship with the company.

 

Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Product Marketing, Carroll Tire Marketing and Pricing groups, and IT Associates to maintain and enhance usability of the B2B websites.

 

Serve as the liaison to Carroll Tire branch locations for website related issues, specifically to work with Branch Managers and Business Development Managers to support usage of the B2B site among their customers.

 

Collaborate with the Carroll Tire Company Marketing Group to update the website with branch specific web specials and promotional announcements, and to assist in monitoring and reporting sales results.

 

Define and maintain cross reference tables of customers, products and warehouses to optimize visibility of appropriate items on the websites.

 

Work closely with sales associates to facilitate customer set-up and proper access to the website. Also gathers product images and details for the site.

 

Maintain system data that drives visibility of product information on the websites, including specification data and product images.

 

Performs other functions as directed by the Vice President.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Candidate requires a bachelors’ degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Marketing or a related field from a four-year college or university, 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Candidate is required to understand complex verbal and/or written instructions.  Candidate will also be required to analyze and interpret technical writing and specifications.  Ability to speak and write in a clear and understandable manner while presenting information and responding to questions from TBC associates, customers, and vendors.  

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Candidate will work with mathematical concepts related to advanced features of Office tools such as Excel and SQL database reporting. Candidate will be required to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

 

REASONING ABILITY

Candidate will be required to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

 

 

 

OVERNIGHT TRAVEL: The position is based in the Palm Beach Gardens office, but interaction with branch offices and field personnel may require one week per month overnight travel.
