General Summary

 

Manager, IT Procurement & Deployment (ITPD) will report to Sr. Manager of IT Service Delivery.  The Manager, ITPD position provides leadership for all ITPD projects and the resources assigned.  In this capacity, the ITPD Manager defines the processes used to deliver team projects successfully based upon the expectations defined with the stakeholders. The ITPD Manager will perform tasks required to ensure the projects are planned, executed, and delivered as expected by the committed deadlines.  The ITPD Manager is responsible for identifying tasks, issues, inefficiencies, providing reporting and defining requirements for team projects and initiatives.  Reporting to the ITPD Manager are positions involved in the definition, management, and implementation of significant technology focused projects. The ITPD Manager will be responsible for ensuring the team skills are at the highest level of delivery by the ITPD business specialists and technology generalists which manage, direct and interface with business clients, IT Teams, and customers.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

  • Support IT Procurement & Deployment resources with the identification of relevant initiatives.
  • Manage all aspects of the ITPD projects during their full lifecycle
  • Interact with both internal and external customers to gather project requirements and to clearly define expectations
  • Simultaneously lead several complex projects with varied, multiple deliverables, engaged team members and audiences requiring ongoing prioritization and relationship management
  • Create and manage timelines for all projects
  • Maintain and update project database for status reporting and run weekly status meetings
  • Communicate status information to all team members
  • Support Management reporting, information flow, and organizational planning
  • Provide guidance and direction to team members and evaluate their performance biannually
  • Develop processes, documentation, and techniques for administering a portfolio of programs and projects at TBC
  • Ensure workflow progresses efficiently and projects/staff are organized as priorities shift
  • Annually review all departmental processes and update as appropriate
  • The ability to work in a matrix environment across cross-functional teams
  • Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
  • Create and continually enhance corporate and approved franchise asset management processes within the policies and guidelines of TBC accounting practices.
  • Suggest recommendations to support corporate and franchise acquisitions, recovery plans and revenue enhancement proposals.
  • Collaboration with key stakeholders for the management of assets with projects under construction and in operation.
  • Perform audit and compliance validation of assets, including hardware and software installations.
  • Provide reports in collaboration with key stakeholders to define asset deliverables.
  • Forensic investigation of missing or unaccounted assets.
  • Perform hardware and software license reporting to track spending within asset tracking process.
  • Develop process and methods to track, disperse and control IT assets within TBC Corporation.
  • Uncover savings through process improvement and/or strategic decision making of IT Assets.
  • Perform tasks required to account for and report on IT inventory

 

Additional Responsibilities

 

  • Minimize our exposure and risk on all IT Procurement & Deployment projects
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
  • Lead high-level sessions for project plan and schedule development
  • Review/approve project plans for conformance to initiative strategy and program plan and schedule
  • Act as the communications conduit to executive sponsors and program steering committee
  • Conduct periodic briefings/status updates
  • Effectively communicates relevant project information to customer and leadership teams
  • Reviews and approves invoices as necessary
  • Develop lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding all defined target goals and milestones for tasks in order to ensure overall success
  • Evaluates requirements and prepares detailed specifications/documentation needed to develop solutions for initiatives
  • Identify and follow methods to mitigate risk, complete tasks, and resolve issues
  • Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships

 

 

 

Education & Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years of experience in the specific field of Information Technology Procurement/Deployment preferred
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent personal organization and time management skills
  • Exceptional work ethic and professional integrity
  • Eagerness to deliver excellent customer service
  • Demonstrated skills managing follow up and communication
  • ITIL v3 a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, Visio, SharePoint, Microsoft Project and Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Experience working as a liaison between Customer, Business, and IT Teams.
