JOB SUMMARY:

 

The Product Marketing and Promotions Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and the execution of all retail promotions and marketing strategy for Tire Kingdom, Merchant’s Tire, NTB, Big O Tires, Midas and Ecommerce. This position is responsible for determining marketing activities of the corporation’s tires, parts, equipment, batteries, oil, accessories, and other related products.

 

The position will also perform analyses and modeling to maximize profit and volume opportunities.  This position will work closely with TBC Marketing and Operations, while working within the purchasing department leveraging our vendors to help meet our goals & objectives. 

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Work with operations and marketing in developing marketing programs and including promotions that drive demand.
  2. Manage the creation and implementation of all vendor promotions for tires and services. 
  3. Oversee the project plans for new product launches.  Including product images, copy, ensuring the accuracy and timelines of all product launches and marketing campaigns.
  4. Oversee store merchandising, including the displays, banners, and inserts related to our products.
  5. Analyze daily reports, spot trends and report progress to identify any areas of opportunity, program effectiveness and overall efficiencies to evaluate and improve future performance.
  6. Create and track store contests and incentive programs.
  7. Responsible for driving the assigned online strategy and ensuring the online product positioning satisfies the markets evolving needs.
  8. Create communications and implementation plans for projects including, but are not limited to new product introductions, product planning updates, product warranties, product catalogs, POS materials, flyers, announcements, product bulletins, and training material. 
  9. Understanding the automotive industry, consumer and category trends and translating those insights into actionable strategic business recommendations.
  10. Measure and analyze the financial impact of the promotions and other activities associated with Retail Marketing.   

 

 

Minimum Requirements

 

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIRED:

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or other related field.

Automotive/Tire Industry or related field a plus.

Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, Power Point.

Excellent research, diagnostic and analytical skills

Goal oriented with the ability to meet productivity objectives and deadlines.

Exceptional customer service skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Working knowledge of tires, wheels and related items a plus.

Ability to balance multiple priorities

Demonstrates ability to work with minimal supervision

Demonstrates ability to work well with others & various related groups
