General Summary


The Account Manager is responsible for defining and driving initiatives and tactics that will aid in supporting TBC’s Retail marketing plans and business goals. S/he will focus on development, execution and monitoring of programs that support the strategic marketing plan. The AM should demonstrate the ability to build relationships across multiple departments, be able to coordinate projects and recognize the interdependency and complexity of our shared service model.



Primary Responsibilities

  • Driving project teams towards delivery of account goals while making sure individual projects and overall portfolio of work is being delivered on time and on budget
  • Track & report on all retail projects (both internal and external). Work closely with the project team in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project.
  • Reviews all major deliverables (i.e. strategic brief, wireframes, designs, functional spec, technical spec, etc.) to ensure quality standards and brief expectations are met.
  • Ensure all work requested goes through a consistent briefing process from the “brand team”.
  • Ensure all work received from the “creative team” (internal or external) is evaluated based on the aforementioned brief.
  • Responsible for internal marketing communications.
  • Understand the goals, and success metrics. Liaise with and leverage analytics to ensure metrics are properly defined and measured.
  • Weekly status reviews
  • Perform detailed evaluation of client business environment including customer needs, capabilities/assets, and competitive realities to identify unique market opportunities.



Minimum Requirements



Education & Experience




  • Exceptional attention to detail, ability to adapt to change and set priorities for competing demands.




  • Able to make the complex simple.  Able to “translate” across business and creative teams.
  • Understanding of company capabilities and service.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work through ambiguity and complexity.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate directly with team members inside and outside the department with minimal supervision.
  • Proactive self-starter.  Enjoy interpersonal dynamics and politically savvy.
  • Proficient across MS Office software. Experience with design programs (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) and knowledge of share point a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen and articulate.
  • Act effectively under deadlines.

Education:   Bachelor’s degree preferred.
