Job Description:

The IT Asset Management Analyst is responsible for overseeing the receipt, disposition, tracking, refresh and retirement of all IT assets for the duration of their lifecycle.  This individual will also reconcile all asset leases and is responsible for accurately maintaining records in TBC’s Asset Management and Ticketing system.

The Asset Management Analyst must be teachable, grasp new concepts quickly, and demonstrate a pleasant attitude in a dynamic environment that includes changing priorities and deadlines.  The ideal candidate will thrive in a team environment, be open to cross training and cross functional tasks, and possess excellent computer skills along with strong integrated business systems knowledge. This individual is responsible for maintaining accurate inventories, providing regular reporting, and coordinating the staging of hardware between procurement and deployment.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Support hardware and software provisioning for corporate employees and corporate and franchise store openings, relocations and refreshes to include recovery plans for end of lifecycle IT assets
  • Work in tandem with Site Development and Client Systems teams to coordinate deployment of hardware with project milestones and installation dates for locations across the country
  • Act as a liaison between end users, vendors and TBC’s finance team to manage purchase orders and to ensure accurate billing and cost center allocation for hardware and software purchases
  • Log all hardware received, maintain accurate inventory and update asset assignments throughout asset lifecycle
  • Create and continually enhance asset management processes that meet TBC’s accounting standards while also ensuring the IT hardware needs of the organization as a whole are satisfied
  • Work with franchisees to prepare quotes, facilitate leasing with outside companies, and manage all activities related to their hardware purchases and onboarding for IT support
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare monthly billing files for franchise support programs
  • Review asset leases to reconcile lease schedules against current asset assignments and correct any discrepancies
  • Perform regular audits and compliance validation of assets, including hardware and software installations
  • Account for and report on IT inventory and conduct forensic investigation of missing or unaccounted assets
  • Provide regular reporting to define performance against established metrics; track spending;  identify risk
  • Uncover savings through process improvement/strategic planning related to asset procurement & deployment
  • Maintain accountability and compliance for all purchases of IT Assets through process adherence
  • Perform physical inventory management activities such as receiving deliveries, unloading shipments, stocking and organizing shelves, cleaning, and packaging assets for shipping
  • Work with a sense of urgency to provide timely and courteous responses to telephone, e-mail, and ticket based support requests and complete thorough documentation of all work in enterprise ticketing system
  • Cross train to backfill other department roles in the event coverage is needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Manager and/or other members of TBC’s leadership teams




Minimum Requirements




Minimum Experience, Skills and Education Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor Degree preferred
  • Current ITIL and/or ITAM certification a plus
  • Minimum of one to three years Asset Management
  • Accounting/bookkeeping or relatable inventory management experience may be considered in lieu of formal Asset Management experience
  • Knowledge of Outlook, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Docusign and MS Office with strong Excel skills required
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and by written correspondence) with all levels of the organization as well as outside customers
  • Use initiative to learn new skills, enhance personal knowledge and improve communications
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; self-directed
  • Exceptional work ethic and professional integrity
  • Knowledge of the tire industry and/or IT processes and systems is a bonus, but not required
