General Summary:

Responsible for tracking and recording of all company assets information in SAP to ensure is accurately and recorded timely.  Assists in preparation of certain financial schedules, analyzes trends, creates reports and explains variances to help predict future capital expenditures.  Prepare financial analysis of capital investment in fixed assets to management and offers suggestions about resources, forecasting/budgeting & cost saving initiatives as well as cash flow projections. 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  1. Records fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the Asset Management system.
  2. Prepare report for all companies’ capital project status; track CER and appropriation request by business including aging and status of assets under construction.
  3. Conduct follow up with the business and finance teams  to monitor capital expenditures and project status
  4. Prepare and reconcile detailed schedules of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation (MRT, CAPEX & AUC) information and present any required adjustment to be reconciled to General Ledger.
  5. Prepare analysis of monthly fluctuation; bridge analyses on changes in fixed assets and accumulated depreciation accounts and communicates findings and recommendation to management
  6. Prepare schedule 709 (Tangible Assets) as requested by SCOA
  7. Support operations and management by providing information or prepare analysis related to fixed assets as requested for new store or store closure.
  8. Conduct periodic physical inventories of assets by location to validate sub ledger information. Reconcile and investigate physical inventory variances.
  9. Prepares routine and ad hoc reporting accompanied by the required supporting documentation
  10. Perform job with integrity and transparency

 

 

 

Minimum Requirements

 

 

Education & Experience

 

 

Education:     Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.  CPA and/or Master’s Degree preferred.

 

Experience:   

  • 4+ years of experience in accounting and/or related field
  • Preferred experience with SAP Asset Management system.
  • Advanced in Excel (Pivot, V- Lookup, Marco, If Statements, etc.)
  • Strong business acumen and advanced accounting skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and make independent decisions
  • Exhibits confidence and an extensive knowledge of current industry practices when solving business problems
