General Summary

Responsible for the development and administration of Human Resource programs for the Summerville SC Warehouse. Including recruitment, employment, on-boarding and training, compensation and benefits administration, compliance, performance management, performance appraisals process and labor relations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensures ongoing sourcing, recruiting and employment for TBC warehouse Associates.
  • Coordinates and administers new Associate orientation.
  • Administers compensation and benefit programs.
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements. Advises managers on organizational policy matters such as EEOC, harassment, and Wage/Labor laws.
  • Administers on-going management training for all Human Resources Policies and Procedures.
  • Manages Labor relations initiatives, employee recognition, Grievance resolution and terminations.
  • Manager and administrator of TBC’s Performance Appraisal program.
  • Coordinates with the Risk Department in administration of TBC corporate office safety and workers compensation initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Minimum Requirements


Education & Experience

  • Bachelors in related field, Masters and/or PHR preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years Human Resources Management level responsibilities in a union environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years Human Resources experience working in a “Big Box” Distribution Center environment.
