General Summary:

 

TBC Corporation has an opening for a Business Intelligence Business Analyst II position in our Shared Services group located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. This position will be responsible for design, analysis, testing, and support for the Business Intelligence and Analytical reporting processes, data, and systems.  It will be part of a team who supports TBC’s Corporate, Retail, Wholesale, and Warehouse businesses.  We are looking for strong analytical experience in complex BI environments with knowledge in data validation, technical process documentation, and a thorough understanding of database architecture, and systems analysis/design.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Designs and develops business intelligence solutions that will be used to help solve complex business problems
  • Participates in planning process including inception, technical design, development, testing and delivery of BI solutions
  • Evaluates internal and external customers’ needs and abilities in order to provide appropriate solutions
  • Works on special projects related to transactional and master data validation and ETL process improvement as identified by management
  • Identifies, documents and communicates data inconsistences in Teradata EDW
  • Develops source to target mapping documents from various ERP systems to SAP BW and Teradata EDW
  • Works with business to document and validate business rules for data conversion
  • Participates in the design sessions of Teradata views and table structures
  • Creates business requirements documents and process flow diagrams that outline solutions to accommodate reporting needs for the business
  • Works with BI technical resources to ensure the appropriate solution is implemented for the business need
  • Develops test plans including detailed test cases and user acceptance testing strategies where necessary
  • Analyzes testing results to ensure the solution meets the needs of the business

 

 

 

Minimum Requirements

 

Education & Experience:

Education: Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information systems or similar is preferred

 

 

 

Experience:

  • 3+ years Business Analysis or related technical experience required
  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy required
  • Ability to analyze and interpret numbers, trends, patterns, and data to develop new conclusions based on the findings required
  • Ability to communicate results and progress internally and externally in meetings, presentations and technical discussions required
  • Strong interpersonal skills in order to prioritize, focus, and collaborate with end-users and project teams to facilitate data interpretation
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle cycle, excellent technical writing skills required
  • Must have intermediate SQL experience and hands-on with Business Intelligence tools
